They wonder why I am so rebellious, yet when I try to explain it to them they get mad like said above, and they ground me, also aren't teenagers known to be rebellious? It is not just parents; I am always looked down on by all adults. "Stay away from her, she is weird," and ," She is a female that does karate, so stay away from her she might be gay," that one hurts ,"If my daughter does something wrong you come and tell me,", that is my cousins wife, yet when we tell her she says we lie and yells at us all the same. If I tell her that, I did once, everyone yells at me.
I guess my main point is, even though we are the adults of the future, we are still babies no matter what, we will always be babies until we hit the age of 30, and then we are finally adolescents still looked down on sometimes. We have to be older then dirt before we get any respect, yet looking on past generations and religious practices, the age of maturity was 13! Even though we act different then they did, dressed different then they did, listen to different music then they did, and do stuff different then they did they have no right, let me say that again NO RIGHT, to look down at us like they do. We are not babies, we are the presidents of the future, we are the masterminds of the future, we are the parents of the future, we are the teachers of the future, we are the mail people of the future, WE ARE THE FUTURE, and they have no right to look down on us. We are the ones who will fix this world which they destroyed, so who should look down on whom?
I am one of the future standing up for my generation and for the generations to come about our lowly treatment, and I am one of the few who will stand up. Even if I am the only one who will stand up, THEN SO BE IT, I HAVE SAID MY PEACE!

and my spirit never free,
to the world that you have shown me.
But my eyes could not division,
all the colors of love and of life ever more."
